The city

By train
From the Santa Maria Novella train station, take bus 1/7/25/17/10/20 and get off at the Via Frà Bartolomeo (1st stop) or in Piazza della Libertà. Walk 200 m down Via Cavour to our hotel at number 112. Alternatively, take a taxi (5 minutes/€ 8,00-10,00) or walk from the train station towards Via Nazionale, cross Piazza dell’Indipendenza and take Via Santa Caterina d’Alessandria; at the end of this street, turn right on Viale Spartaco Lavagnini to Piazza delle Libertà. From the square, walk 200 m down Via Cavour to our hotel at number 112 (about a 15 minute walk).
From the Campo di Marte train station, take bus n° 12 and get off at the Via Giovanni Pascoli stop. From here, walk down Via Madonna della Tosse to Piazza della Libertà, cross it diagonally to the corner with Via Cavour where the Hotel Benvenuti awaits you at number 112 (about a 15/20 minute walk).
By plane
The Florence airport is in Peretola, 8 km away. To get to the hotel, take the shuttle bus to the Santa Maria Novella train station and follow the directions under "by train". Taxi service is available at €20,00 (fixed fee); if you're landing in Pisa, take the train from the airport to the Santa Maria Novella train station (about a 1 hour ride) and follow the directions under "by train".
By car
Take the A1 highway to Florence and exit at Firenze Nord (Firenze Sud is you're coming from the South) and follow the directions for the "centro" (but do not enter) until you see signs for Piazza della Libertà, the hotel is just a few feet away, at the corner with Via Cavour, at number 112.
